Research on Water Resources Distribution and Carrying Capacity in Yangzhou Based on GIS
In order to comprehensively evaluate the water resources situation in areas with rapid economic development, taking Yangzhou City as an example, the GPM satellite precipitation data in the past five years was used to obtain a regional detailed precipitation water distribution map after downscaling. In addition, water resource carrying capacity indicators were collected and established based on open source data sets.factors, combined with the entropy weight method and GIS technology to carry out spatial evaluation of water resources carrying capacity. The results show that the precipitation in Yangzhou City in the past five years has ranged from 791 mm to 914 mm,showing an automatic decreasing pattern toward the west, and the overall abundance of precipitation resources is high;the average regional water resources carrying capacity is 0.54,reflecting the tight supply and demand situation of water resources in the area.;In addition, water resources carrying capacity is distributed in a patchy and heterogeneous manner, which is consistent with regional land use and population density distribution.
