By expounding the sudden water gushing in the C4 water diversion tunnel of the water diversion project of Huinv Reservoir in Quanzhou City,according to the current situation of water gushing and the geological research and judgment of the subsequent construction tunnel,the process of selection,integration and arrangement of pumping and drainage equipment is analyzed.The original pumping and drainage scheme is reformed and optimized,and the old and new pumping and drainage schemes are compared and selected,which can provide a successful practical application case for the sudden water gushing pumping and drainage scheme of hydraulic tunnel in the future.
