The extreme value type Ⅰ distribution is used to calculate the long series of tidal level data of Shitoubu hydrological station.The Pearson type Ⅲ distribution parameter estimation method is used for comparative analysis,and the design values of the highest tidal level and the lowest tidal level are proposed.The calculation and analysis results can provide application reference for the design of seawall engineering,waterway engineering and seaport engineering in the sea area near Tieshan Port.
