Analysis on Hydrological Characteristics and Flood Control Design of Changjiagou Basin
The Changjiagou basin is located in Hami city,Xinjiang.It is a typical inland river basin.Affected by climate,topography,hydrology and other factors,it has the characteristics of water shortage,frequent floods,and serious sediment.Based on the actual situation of the Changjiagou basin,its hydrological characteristics,including temperature,precipitation,evaporation,runoff,flood level,sediment transport,etc.,are analyzed,and according to the design specifications of urban flood control projects,a flood control design plan is proposed to ensure the flood control safety and economic development of downstream cities.
