Safety Analysis of the Hanjiang to Weihe Water Diversion Tunnel Crossing the Expressway
Exploring the stress and deformation of the surrounding rock and highway under the water transfer tunnel passing through the highway is crucial to ensure the long-term and stable operation of the water transfer tunnel and highway facilities.Relying on the second phase of the Han-Wei Diversion Project in Shaanxi Province, numerical simulation methods were used to explore the changes in the first principal stress and settlement of the arch surrounding rock and highway pavement under different water transfer tunnel excavation advances. The results show that with the increase of excavation advance, the maximum values of the first principal stress of the surrounding rock, the top and bottom surfaces of the highway gradually increase, and the longitudinal and lateral settlement of the arch surrounding rock and the highway pavement increase accordingly. It is recommended that the actual engineering excavation advance be less than 1.5 m.Under different excavation advances, the highway slope and stress meet the requirements. The research results can provide safe design and construction plans for similar projects, and at the same time have certain guiding significance for the coordinated development of water transfer tunnels and expressways.
