Discussion on the Design of Soil and Water Conservation Measures for Channel-type Waste Dump Under Extremely Large Flood Flow
Pumped storage power station projects disturb a large surface area, involve a large amount of earthwork excavation and filling, and produce a large amount of waste slag. The waste slag sites are usually of a high scale,so the planning and design of waste slag sites are the focus and difficulty of soil and water conservation.According to the latest documents of the Ministry of Water Resources and relevant standards and specifications, this paper takes the waste slag site of the lower reservoir of Caoping Pumped Storage Power Station in Shaanxi as an example, and discusses the site selection, stacking scheme selection, flood discharge scheme comparison and soil and water conservation measures design in combination with the analysis of the natural conditions of the slag site. The results can provide reference for similar projects.
