Research on the Efficient Water-saving Application of Digital Twins in Arid Inland River Basins in China
This article aims to explore the high-efficiency water-saving application of digital twins in the Shule River,an arid inland river basin in northwest my country.Taking the Shule River as a typical example,the intelligent application of digital twin technology is used to realize a new management of water resources in the entire basin.Through digital mapping,intelligent simulation,forward-looking rehearsal,and optimization iteration of all elements and processes in the basin,the flood and drought disasters in the basin can be treated.Defense,water resources management and allocation,and precise water distribution in digital twin irrigation areas provide scientific basis and intuitively reveal the water-saving application scenarios of digital twins in the arid inland northwest region.Research has found that this technology can accurately predict and simulate floods and droughts,and form water-saving measures for water resources management and allocation through"storage,regulation,diversion,irrigation,and drainage"to achieve water balance and resource conservation.Further research shows that the digital twin irrigation district can achieve precise water distribution through the support of digital twin technology,the automatic control of channel gate groups and the integrated water and fertilizer drip irrigation function of field pipe networks,thereby significantly reducing water waste and ecological damage.
