Flood Impact Analysis of the First Phase LNG Bunkering Station Project of the Xijiang Energy Hub Center
To analyze the flood impact of the first phase LNG bunkering station project of the Xijiang Energy Hub Center on the Xijiang River,one-dimensional and two-dimensional mathematical models were used to evaluate the flood impact. The results show that the maximum obstruction ratio under a flood frequency of P=2%is 1.10%,and the obstruction ratio during the construction period under a flood frequency of P=20%is 0.42%.Under flood frequencies of P=2%and P=3.33%,the velocity change caused by the project construction ranges from-0.025 m/s to 0.004 m/s.The changes occur mainly in the river segment 100 meters upstream and 500 meters downstream of the barge on the left bank, with no significant changes in velocity observed in other water areas. The construction of the bunkering station has a minor impact on the overall flood discharge capacity and stability of the Xijiang River.
