Optimization Study of Flood-Safe Scheme for Deep Excavation of Phoenix Neck Pump Station Based on Finite Element Method
Taking the deep excavation of the Phoenix Neck Pump Station of the Diverting Yangtze River to Huai River Project as the research object, according to the progress of the construction site and the actual needs for safe passage through the flood season, this study focuses on the flood-safe scheme for deep excavations in fine sandy soil layers along the river. It conducts three-dimensional seepage flow analysis under different conditions of cutoff wall depths and varying water levels within the excavation during the Yangtze River flood season. The study obtains the hydraulic heads around the excavation and the vertical permeability gradients at monitoring points under different schemes.Combined with the depth of excavation during the flood season,it assesses whether the excavation can safely pass through the flood period. Finally, based on the research findings, the optimal flood-safe scheme is selected to ensure the safe passage of the excavation through the flood season.
