Effect of Wenfei Qutan powder on peripheral blood T Lymphocytes,serum IL-2 and sIL-2R in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients
Objective:To observe the effects of Wenfei Qutan powder on peripheral blood T lymphocytes,serum interleukin-2(IL-2)and soluble interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R)in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and to provide reference for clinical treatment.Methods:Sixty patients with stable COPD of phlegm obstructing lung type were selected and divided into two groups of 30 cases each using the random number table method.Both groups were given lip-contraction abdominal breathing.The control group was given tiotropium bro-mide treatment,and the observation group was given tiotropium bromide+warm lung expectorant powder treat-ment.The changes in TCM symptom score,cough score,quality of life score and peripheral blood T lymphocyte,ser-um IL-2 and sIL-2R levels were recorded before and after the treatment in both groups,and the total effective rate of clinical treatment and the number of COPD acute exacerbations in patients with 6-month follow-up were counted in both groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group in 8 weeks of treatment,and the number of COPD acute exacerbations in 6 months of follow-up was less than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,QOL,CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+and IL-2 were increased(P＜0.05),while TCM syndrome score,cough score,CD8+and sIL-2R were de-creased(P＜0.05).Qol,CD3+,CD4-,CD4+/CD8+and IL-2 in observation group were higher than those in control group(P＜0.05),while TCM syndrome score,cough score,CD8+,IL-2 and sIL-2R in observation group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Wenfei Qutan powder can improve the immune function of stable COPD patients,regulate the expression of serum IL-2 and sIL-2R,improve symptoms and improve the quality of life.
