Theoretical analysis of treating gastrointestinal polyps based on"cutting the hard and dispersing the knots"
Gastrointestinal polyps mainly refer to polyps of stomach and intestine.At present,the most com-monly used clinical treatment for this disease is endoscopic treatment.Although the effect is quick,there are many complications,and there is still a high recurrence rate after treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has cer-tain advantages in preventing the recurrence of this disease.Our research group concluded that the core pathogenesis of gastrointestinal polyps is mostly spleen deficiency and qi stagnation,while the stagnation of spleen and stomach qi further produces dampness,phlegm,blood stasis and other pathological factors as the symptoms,by summarizing ancient and modern relevant literature and combining clinical practice research.Therefore,we should closely follow the pathogenesis and put forward the"dissipation method"to treat gastrointestinal polyps according to the theory of"cutting the hard and dispersing the knots",which should be flexible in clinical practice and follow the symptoms.In order to provide new insights for the treatment of gastrointestinal polyps with traditional Chinese medicine.
