Clinical efficacy and effect on serum CA125 of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Dan'e Fukang decoction in the treatment of endometriosis dysmenorrhea
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and effect on serum carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)of acupoint catgut combined with Dan'e Fukang decoction in the treatment of dysmenorrhoea in endometriosis(EMs)of the qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Methods:66 patients were randomly divided into two groups of 33 each with dysmenorrhea in qi stagnation and blood stasis EMs.The control group was treated orally with Dan'e Fukang decoc-tion,and the observation group was supplemented with acupoint catgut on this basis, and both groups were treated for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores, dysmenorrhoea scores,Chinese medicine symptom scores and serum CA125 levels were compared be-fore and after the treatment, and the adverse reactions during the treatment period were observed and recorded. Results:Follwing treatment, treatment efficacy was higher in the observed group than those in the control group(P<0.05).The menstrual VAS score, dysmenorrhoea symptom score,Chinese medicine symptom score and serum CA125 level of the patients in both groups were reduced compared with the pre-treatment period, and the increase in attractiveness indices of the observation group was better than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Side effect rates had no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding combined with Dan'e Fukang decoction can effectively relieve dysmenorrhoea and its accompanying symptoms in EMs with qi stagnation and blood stasis, improve the Chinese medicine evidence, and can reduce serum CA125 level, inhibit the progress of ectopic endothelium, and improve the clinical efficacy.
