"Labor-induced stranguria"ancient records in traditional Chinese medicine literature and the current state of modern treatment
"Labor-induced stranguria"often occurs due to fatigue and persists as a stubborn clinical challenge,corresponding to recurrent urinary tract infection(RUTI)in modern medical terminology.The mainstream modern medical treatment used antibiotics still faces many limitations,whereas traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)had a long history,significant potential,and notable advantages.This article reviews ancient Chinese records on stranguria and recent literature on TCM treatment of labor-induced stranguria,summarizing from aspects of historical records,modern medical understanding of the condition,TCM proven prescriptions,and external TCM treatment methods.It also provided prospects for future research,aiming to offer some references for the clinical treatment of labor-induced stranguria.
