The passenger flow in urban transportation is increasing day by day,and the frequency of using escalators is very high.Most escalators in transportation stations operate for a long time uninterruptedly,which imperceptibly poses certain hidden dangers to the operation and the maintenance of the escalator equipment and its various components.The inspection of escalators is usually based on the relevant inspection standards,and the parts of the standards that are not refined are easily overlooked and leave safety hazards during the inspection process.This article analyzes cases that are easily overlooked in the regular inspection,safety assessment,or daily maintenance process of escalators,and puts forward suggestions to optimize the relevant inspection standards.
