To address the issues in the operation of permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSM),such as load disturbances and parameter variations that can affect the speed of the motors,an adaptive sliding mode control strategy based on an improved extended state observer is proposed to improve the robustness of PMSM.First,an improved extended state observer is designed to dynamically adjust the observer gain according to the magnitude of the disturbance,and the response speed of the system is improved.Second,an adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to determine the optimal sliding mode surface coefficient through a cost function,and further an adaptive sliding mode surface is designed to improve the convergence speed of the system.Finally,an adaptive law is introduced to estimate the observation error of the disturbance online.The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively overcome the influence of load disturbances and parameter perturbations on the speed of PMSMs and improve the robustness of the system.
