With the internal team process and innovation atmosphere are introduced into the upper echelons theory,this paper reviews relevant literature,proposes theoretical hypotheses,and constructs a theoretical relationship model to deeply analyze the impact of board cognition needs on innovation performance,as well as the role of internal team process and innovation atmosphere.The empirical study on effective samples shows that the board's cognitive need has a significant positive impact on innovation performance and innovation atmosphere,innovation atmosphere has a significant positive impact on innovation performance,and can mediate the positive impact of board's cognitive need on innovation performance.The internal team process can positively regulate the relationship between the board's cognitive needs and the innovation atmosphere.
