The gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear is the important electrical equipment in substation,which can withstand overvoltage shock during continuous operation.The resonant overvoltage caused by switching on no-load transformer was analyzed theoretically,and the fault of the gas insulated metal closed switchgear caused by switching on no-load transformer was analyzed with example.Further,the solution was proposed.
