The preventive measures for lightning strike breakage of insulated conductor in distribution line were introduced,specifically including installation of overhead ground line,installation of metal oxide lightning arrester,installation of over-voltage protector,design and production of anti-arc hardware,design and production of anti-inductive over-voltage detection and grounding device.The application effect of anti-induced over-voltage detection and grounding device was analyzed.The safety and stability of the power grid can be ensured by applying preventive measure for lightning strike breakage of insulated conductor in distribution line,and strengthening the operation and maintenance of insulated conductor at the same time.
