A comprehensive comparison of the relevant design standards for cable was made in fire protection system in some industries such as construction and rail transit,combined with the fire protection requirement proposed by existing nuclear power design companies,the design scheme of cable used for fire protection system in nuclear power plant was studied.The differences in structure,material,and standard between cable used in non-nuclear fire protection system and flame retardant and fire-resistant cable in nuclear power plant were campared,the verification of cable used for fire protection system in nuclear power plant was analyzed,and the design scheme of cable used for fire protection system in nuclear power plant suitable for transformation and development of nuclear power plant was explored.
