Based on a 16MW high-power offshore permanent magnet wind power generator,the 2D finite element model was established using ANSYS Maxwell finite element software.The necessity of the projects on phase difference between multi-windings was analyzed,and the performance of several parameters under unload and load characteristics between poly-phase winding and traditional three-phase winding was compared and studied.Moreover,the waveform characteristics of wind turbines under fault-tolerant operating conditions are studied.Finally,the demagnetization rate of the generator was calculated under short-circuit conditions.The design process,methods,and fault analysis provide certain experience and reference for the subsequent development of high-power permanent magnet wind power generator.
