PRACTICE AND EXPLORATION OF"MULTI-MATERIAL"+"MULTI-PROCESS"DESIGN COURSES WITH TIANFU CHARACTERISTICS
To adapt to the new economic structure and bring new demand for talents,to solve the phenomenon of product design majors learning more about art and less skills.The course integrates the practice of traditional Sichuan craftsmanship into the teaching,and cultivates students'integrated design thinking by means of"multi-material","multi-process",learning in practice,and knowledge migration.In the multi-project practice,students not only mastered the molding methods,decoration techniques and craft techniques of various materials,but also realized the"program"rules and ingenuity culture of craftsmanship through repeated practice and re-practice.This teaching reform provides some teaching ideas and research cases for finding the way of connecting local traditional crafts and modern design education,and highlighting the regional characteristics of design education.
