RESEARCH ON THE ADAPTIVE DESIGN OF ASSISTIVE DEVICES FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED
According to the characteristics and needs of the four types of the visually impaired, solve the obstacles in the use of assistive devices, enhance the adaptability of assistive devices, and increase the use value and utilization rate of assistive devices.Using the desktop research method, user in-depth interview method, case study method and induction method, the article innovatively proposes four factors that affect the adaptive design of assistive devices, and forms the adaptive design strategy of visually impaired assistive devices based on the four factors. The research concludes four design strategies:single factor design strategy,multi-scene interaction design strategy,multi-sensory interaction design strategy, and behavior memory design strategy, which can be reasonably matched with each other. The design of assistive devices for visual impairment should consider their adaptability among the four types of visually impaired persons, and this strategy can provide a theoretical reference for the adaptability of assistive devices for visually impaired.
