DESIGN AND RESEARCH OF USER INTERACTION FOCUSED SHOWER ASSISTIVE DEVICES FOR ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES
To analyze the user experience of shower assistive devices in assisted living facilities and propose solutions to the problems encountered by assist receiver and assist giver during the shower process. The Case study method was used to insight into the shower assistive scene, and three shower wheelchair experience groups were set up for comparative testing, focusing on the interaction process between the assist receiver and assist giver. The behavioral data of users before, during and after the shower were collected through user interviews and user observations.Explores user needs from the perspectives of humanization, safety, and comfort, and insights into the role of shower assistive devices in regulating the relationship between assist receiver, assist giver, and assisted living facilities.Based on this,a design and development strategy for shower assistive devices is proposed.Provide a reference path for the design and development of shower assistive equipment to improve the quality of life of the elderly and promote the level of care in assisted living facilities.
