ERGONOMICS-BASED STUDY ON AGEING-FRIENDLY DESIGN OF KITCHEN FURNITURE
China's aging society is a serious problem today.The number of elderly people who choose to age at home is also increasing.In order to solve the problem of unsafe and inconvenient use of kitchen by the elderly,the ageing-friendly design of kitchen furniture is essential.This paper mainly researches the aging-friendly design of kitchen furniture from the perspective of ergonomics.The psychological and physiological characteristics of the elderly are analyzed,and the principles and methods of aging-friendly design of kitchen furniture are summarized.Through the example analysis of the height of operating table and hanging cabinet,the height suitable for the elderly is derived.The specific application methods and design principles of ergonomics in the age-appropriate design of kitchen furniture are proposed.It provides a reference for the aging-appropriate design of kitchen furniture.
