JEWELLERY DESIGN STRATEGIES BASED ON DECONSTRUCTIONISM
This paper provides a detailed analysis and discussion of the concept of deconstructionism and the concept of sustainability, providing insight into the relevant principles of deconstructionism and combining them with the concept of sustainability by analyzing and exploring the deconstructionist concept of decomposition, allowing for the reuse of old jewellery.Through the study of Jacques Derrida's theory of deconstructionism, and using the artist's work as a reference,we learn about deconstruction in the form of decomposition, superimposition, fragmentation, dislocation, mixing and reversal, summarize and redesign jewellery through deconstruction and disorganization, and study the sustainability of old objects. The old jewellery is reconstructed to extract shapes and colors to form new necklaces and brooches, reinventing the jewellery itself as sustainable. The method can be used as a reference for contemporary design as well as sustainable design.
