RESEARCH ON THE EMOTIONAL DESIGN OF NEGATIVE SPACE IN OLD COMMUNITIES—TAKING NANCHANG DASHIYUAN COMMUNITY AS AN EXAMPLE
This article aims to delve into the issues of transforming negative spaces in old communities,based on the broader context of optimizing urban"existing space".Taking the Nanchang Dashiyuan Community as a case study,the objective is to provide more comprehensive optimization strategies for the renovation of negative spaces in old communities.Based on the existing research on the transformation of urban negative space,the current situation,target groups and existing needs of negative space in the old community were investigated in detail through field research and semi-structured interviews,and were summarized and classified.Combined with the three-level theory of emotion,corresponding design strategies for three types of negative spaces in old communities are proposed from the sensory layer,behavioral layer and reflective layer.This research aims to provide multi-dimensional new ideas for community passive space renovation and improve the long-term effectiveness of the renovation.
