DESIGN AND RESEARCH OF UNIVERSITY LIBRARY SELF-SERVICE RETRIEVAL MACHINE BASEDON ERGONOMICS
In order to enhance the efficiency of the current self-service retrieval machines in university libraries and enhance the user experience in the book retrieval process. The article conducts a survey on the current situation of self-service retrieval machines in university libraries and finds that they have problems such as equipment dimensions that do not conform to ergonomics, operating methods that do not conform to humanization, and interface design that does not conform to user habits. The paper fully considers the physical changes of college students and uses the theory of human factors engineering to redesign.Provide specific size parameters and interface design strategies for self-service retrieval machines in university libraries. This design study can serve as a reference for the design of self-service retrieval machines in major university libraries.
