APPLICATION OF SUBDIVISION MODELING IN ORGANIC FORM OF INDOOR SPACE
To explore the potential of Subdivision modeling technology in interior design,improve the attraction and competitiveness of organic form of interior design,and effectively improve the efficiency of designers in organic form design.Firstly,by analyzing the principle of Subdivision modeling,the possibility,efficiency,adjustability and imitation characteristics of Subdivision in indoor application were introduced.Secondly,several advantages of Subdivision modeling in interior design are discussed,such as organic topology structure,spatial interface resolution,Tyson polygon application and fading surface application.Combined with the London exhibition hall of Legica and the cases of BarinSkiResort and Batwings,this paper expounds its nonlinear aesthetics and organic form,and explains its design characteristics.And it is connected with the theory of plastic arts to explore the relationship between art form and space art.Finally,the advantages and limitations of organic form expression of Subdivision modeling are further analyzed,and the feasibility of organic structure modeling of Subdivision modeling in interior design is discussed.It is analyzed that Subdivision modeling technology can better design organic forms with nonlinear aesthetics,and also help to create unique art forms and space feelings.It provides an innovative design idea for the organic form of related interior space.
