旨在探索高校IP形象设计的一般程序与方法。首先,梳理IP形象设计概念的发展脉络与定义;然后分析、调研国内外高校IP形象设计优秀案例,其次探讨高校文化符号与IP形象设计结合的可行性;接着通过梳理符号转化的3要素,即图像符号、标识符号、象征符号,最后结合符号转化特征分析出高校IP形象设计方法及流程。以吉利学院为设计实践项目,将吉利学院文化符号进行梳理,提取其图像符号、标识符号、象征符号,通过符号转化在IP形象设计中的应用方法及流程设计一款吉利学院IP形象,并验证了符号转化在高校IP形象设计中的可行性。结论 基于符号转化法,有效地将高校文化符号与IP形象设计相结合,提升了高校文化的辨识度与认同感,满足在校师生的文化互动和社交需求,同时拓展了高校社会服务能力与影响力。
IP IMAGE DESIGN FOR UNIVERSITIES BASED ON SYMBOLIC TRANSFORMATION
To explore the general procedures and methods of IP image design in colleges and universities.Methods Firstly,to sort out the development and definition of the concept of IP image design;then to analyse and research the excellent cases of IP image design in colleges and universities at home and abroad,and then to explore the feasibility of combining the cultural symbols of colleges and universities with IP image design;then to sort out the 3 elements of the symbol transformation,i.e.,the image symbols,identifiers,and symbolic symbols,and then to analyse the characteristics of the symbol transformation to identify the method and process of the IP image design of colleges and universities.Results Taking Geely College as a design practice project,Geely College's cultural symbols are sorted out,its image symbols,identifiers,and symbols are extracted,and an IP image of Geely College is designed through the application of the symbol transformation method and process in IP image design,and the feasibility of symbol transformation in IP image design of colleges and universities is verified.Based on the symbol transformation method,the combination of college cultural symbols and IP image design effectively enhances the recognition and identity of college culture,meets the cultural interaction and social needs of students and teachers,and expands the social service capability and influence of colleges at the same time.
