DESIGN AND RESEARCH ON COMPANION EQUIPMENT FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE LIVING ALONE
Taking the living places of the elderly such as bedrooms and living rooms as examples,we conducted field investigations and summaries on the daily necessities and behavioral habits of the elderly in the home,institutional,and community environments.Starting from the daily companionship of the elderly,we followed the design principles of assistance,moderation,aesthetics,safety,and humanistic care to provide design solutions for the elderly who suffer from bone,joint,and muscle diseases or degeneration.By using a unique interactive mode of follow-up companionship and emotional support,we aim to solve the need for carrying basic and emergency items while providing emotional support for the elderly who live alone.Based on the daily lives of the elderly,we aim to create a mobile,multi-scenario applicable,intelligent,multi-functional,modular,and emotionally supportive product that revolves around the mobility difficulties of the elderly who live alone.
