RESEARCH ON MUSEUM DISPLAY DESIGN FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF URBAN IMAGE COMMUNICATION—TAKING THE SUZHOU MUSEUM WEST AS AN EXAMPLE
In response to the phenomenon and problems of"homogenization"in the development process of cities,museum display design is taken as the research object,and its advantages are utilized to help promote the image of the city.Starting from the perspective of the characteristics and inherent relationship between urban image and museum display design,this paper analyzes museum display design strategies from the perspective of urban image dissemination,and explores their role in constructing the urban image of Suzhou through the example of Suzhou Museum West.Museums can effectively promote urban image by translating typical symbols,creating narrative scenes and integrating digital technology.Summarize the museum display design paths applicable to the dissemination of urban image,providing reference and inspiration for museums to participate in the construction and dissemination of urban image.
