T-SHAPE PALM PAINTING CULTURAL GENE EXTRACTION AND SPATIAL TRANSLATION DESIGN
In order to construct the cultural genealogy of T-shaped Pali Painting and explore the design path of spatial translation of T-shaped Pali Painting.the cultural elements of T-shape Pali paintings were screened,analyzed and extracted from both dominant and recessive dimensions based on cultural gene theory.The application strategies of dominant and recessive genes in spatial translation of T-shape Pali paintings were also elaborated.Combining the three design principles of recognizability,interactivity and wholeness,the T-shape Pali painting was used as the theme to complete the spatial translation design practice.Further,the experiencers'perceptions on material and spiritual level of T-shape Pali painting were deepened.This method realized the design transformation and application of the cultural genes of T-shape Pali painting,and also provided new design ideas for the protection and inheritance of other cultural heritages.
