DESIGN AWARD DRIVEN INDUSTRY INNOVATION MODEL:A CASE STUDY OF GLOBAL SPORTSWEAR DESIGN AWARD
This article explores the design award competitions as an innovative incubation carrier,providing important conditions and platforms for the construction of the ecosystem for collaborative innovation between industry,academia and research through a three-sphere new model of"promoting education,research and production through competition".The study conducted an in-depth analysis of the similarities and differences between domestic and international design award competitions,and used the case analysis of the Global Sportswear Design Award(GSDA)to point out the value and role of design award competitions in promoting talent cultivation,knowledge transfer,and enterprise innovation research and development.It also explored the construction of a theoretical model for industrial innovation development driven by design award competitions.
