EMPATHETIC DESIGN OF RURAL SPECIALTY FOOD SOUVENIRS BASED ON GROUNDED THEORY
The country is currently vigorously implementing the rural revitalization strategy,and rural tourism is experiencing explosive growth.Specialty local food souvenirs play an important role in cultural communication and memory commemoration in rural tourism.Presently,the design of these souvenirs often remains at a preliminary stage with suboptimal experiences.To satisfy users'emotional experience needs and promote tourism development,it is necessary to optimize their design.Based on Grounded Theory,this approach uses three levels of coding to explore the influencing factors of the culinary cultural context.It identifies the intersections between the three dimensions of the food cultural context—scenario,situation,and artistic conception,and the three levels of souvenir usage context—perception,utilization,and reflection.From these intersections,the empathetic design elements are distilled.Constructs an empathic design model for rural specialty food souvenirs,applying it in practice.The souvenir design satisfies the multi-layered empathic needs of users for the taste,visual,and cultural experience of rural specialty foods,promoting the integration of rural economic development and tourism culture,and aiding in the revitalization of the countryside.
