This study provides a more suitable living environment for the elderly with dementia and provides a design basis for the aging transformation of old communities.Guided by the concept of'Dementia friendly',the evaluation method of'dementia friendly'of community identification system is established,and the identification system is classified and functionally partitioned.According to the physiological characteristics of the dementia elderly,the aging design elements of the identification system are studied,and the hierarchical design method of the dementia friendly identification system is obtained.According to the hierarchical design method and evaluation system,the example transformation design is carried out,and the effectiveness of the identification system is verified by the path finding experiment of the demented elderly,which provides a design reference for the aging transformation of the old community.
