This study explores the application of distinctive cultural symbols in the packaging design of Baijiu from Inner Mongolia and proposes optimization strategies.Employing the semiotic theories of Peirce,Saussure,and Lotman,this research conducts a thorough analysis of the symbolization of Baijiu packaging forms in Inner Mongolia and their integration with local culture.It reveals the symbolic characteristics and visual strategies within the design,demonstrated through specific case studies illustrating how these symbols are practically incorporated into the packaging designs.The paper outlines how semiotics enhances the appeal and cultural depth of distinctive cultural packaging designs.Improvement measures are proposed to promote cultural heritage and innovation,aiming to enhance the market competitiveness and cultural value of the design.
