This paper takes wood as a guide to explore the domestic market's cognition of solid wood furniture and solid wood texture characteristics,and takes representative works of contemporary Chinese high-end original furniture design as samples to study how wood materials can better show their natural beautiful texture and warm and friendly texture on furniture products through the expression of design.The results of case analysis are sorted out and the thinking is expanded,and the design method of solid wood texture is integrated into the furniture design path,and the final output of furniture design works is obtained.
