AN EXPLORATION OF WELL-BEING DESIGN STRATEGIES FOR TWO-PLAYER COOPERATIVE GAMES
This study examines strategies for enhancing player happiness in two-player cooperative games, focusing on how emotional experiences, interactive narratives, and aesthetic experiences work together to enhance player happiness. The article employs rooted theory, using player online reviews of the game It Takes Two as the primary data source, and qualitative analysis using Nvivo 12 in order to construct a theoretical model. The study revealed three factors that primarily influence player well-being:interactive narrative, aesthetic experience, and emotional experience. These factors interacted with each other to promote positive changes in players'emotions and happiness, which led to the development of a model of player happiness(IAE model). The findings provide a player-centered happiness enhancement strategy for game design to improve user experience and satisfaction.
