RESEARCH ON DESIGN STRATEGIES FOR ELECTRIC BICYCLE HELMETS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR
Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB)framework, this study explores the user needs for electric scooter helmets and constructs design strategies for them.By combining literature review methods, the study establishes connections between helmet-related research content and the elements of the TPB framework, which are then translated into design strategies.Based on the TPB framework,a list of user needs for electric scooter helmets was developed, including safety needs, comfort needs, and additional needs.Design methods for electric scooter helmets were proposed according to these needs. The TPB framework can predict helmet-wearing behavior, reveal user needs, and establish targeted helmet design strategies, which can be used to optimize the helmet-wearing experience.
