RESEARCH ON DESIGN OF WEARABLE DEVICES FOR ELDERLY USERS BASED ON TAM-SEM MODELS
In order to enhance the willingness of elderly users to use wearable devices,we explore the design paths affecting the use of wearable devices by elderly users and carry out product design by constructing a model of the acceptance of wearable device technology by elderly users.Firstly,semi-structured interviews are conducted with elderly users through the rooted theory to extract the design factor variables affecting the use of wearable devices by elderly users, and at the same time, the user perception factor variables are mined according to the literature analysis;secondly, the technology acceptance model of wearable devices for elderly users is constructed according to the design factors and the user perception, and the relationship between the design factors and the user perception is explored in detail, and the weights of the design factors are solved in order to obtain the key design elements, and design the program based on the results;finally, invite 24 elderly people to conduct a high-fidelity prototype cell phone usability test. The design path of wearable devices for elderly users constructed based on the TAM-SEM model in this study is scientific, and it can provide reference ideas for the design and development of similar wearable devices for the elderly.
