THE MODERN INTERPRETATION OF THE HANI TOTEM:THE INNOVATIVE APPLICATION OF THE SILVER PHEASANT FAIRY TALE IN THE DESIGN OF WEDDING JEWELRY
The objective of this paper is to explore the application of the mythical story of the Hani nationality silver Pheasant in wedding jewelry design,aiming to preserve and promote national culture.Through literature review,field investigation,and case analysis,this article delves into the mythological narrative and totemic significance of the Pheasant,resulting in a series of wedding jewelry pieces that incorporate shape elements,color materials,craftsmanship,and cultural connotations.The findings reveal that by combining traditional elements with modern design concepts,it is possible to create wedding jewelry that possesses both cultural characteristics and contemporary aesthetics.This design approach not only enhances the form and content of jewelry but also facilitates the integration between traditional culture and modern design practices while offering a novel avenue for recognizing and preserving national heritage.
