Effects of Different Nitrogen and Zinc Levels on Growth Characteristics and Quality of Oats
Oat(Baiyan No.2)was used as the experimental material and four different levels of nitrogen and zinc fertilizer concentrations were set up to explore the effects of different nitrogen and zinc levels on oat photosynthetic characteristics and grain quality. The research results indicated that under the combined application of nitrogen and zinc, the plant height, leaf area, and yield of oats in the treatment group significantly increased compared to the control group.Oat chlorophyll content, intercellular CO2 concentration, net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rate all significantly increased compared to the control. The soluble protein, soluble sugar, and starch content of oat seeds were significantly increased by 24.53%,14.49%,and 29.24%compared to the control group. Therefore, nitrogen and zinc fertilizer combined application could be an effective method to promote oat growth. The best effect was achieved when the nitrogen application rate was 16 g·m-2 and the zinc application rate was 1.50 g·m 2,which could improve the photosynthesis efficiency, increase the yield and improve the grain quality of oats.
