Concrete Corrosion Detection Method Based on Ground Penetrating Radar Technology
Research on the detection method of corrosion diseases on the back wall of concrete and shield tunnel segment components was conducted,in response to the serious threat to the service safety of subway tunnel segments caused by corrosion in the working environment.According to the principle of ground penetrating radar(GPR)detection of concrete corrosion, and the simulation research was carried out on the back wall corrosion of ordinary concrete and shield segments respectively. The propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in the case of concrete corrosion were analyzed.A specific method of concrete corrosion radar detection was proposed, which calculated the concrete thickness based on the interface reflection time, and then calculated the thickness of the concrete corrosion layer to evaluate the concrete corrosion status. The detection test was conducted on the plain concrete platform and the shield segment members. The results show that the GPR method could effectively realize detection of the corrosion state behind the plain concrete and the shield segment wall.
