Design and properties of moisture absorption and heat generation woven fabric
In order to develop a kind of woven fabric with excellent moisture absorption and heat generation, the modified acrylic fiber is used as raw material, blended with cotton as the outer yarn, and the core yarn is spandex filament,so a kind of core spun yarn with hygro-scopic heating is spun. The core-spun yarn is woven into four different organizational structures:plain weaves,2/1 right twill weaves,doub-le layer weaves and honeycomb weaves. The air permeability, moisture permeability, thermal and hygroscopic heating properties of the ob-tained fabrics are tested, and the influences of fiber composition and fabric structure on the hygroscopic heating properties of the fabrics are analyzed. The results show that 16 woven fabrics had different levels of moisture absorption and heat generation performance. With the in-crease of the content of modified acrylic fiber, the heat effect of the fabric becomes better. When the fiber content is the same, the heating effect of honeycomb tissue fabric is better.Overall, the modified acrylic fiber/cotton 80/20 honeycomb tissue fabric has the best heating effect.
