Comparative analysis of properties of recycled and original polyamide 6 FDY filament
The surface morphology, molecular structure, thermal properties and mechanical property of recycled and original polyamide 6 FDY samples are studied by scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction and dynamics tensile test, and the difference in structure and performance between the two is explored. The results show that there is no clear distinction in chemical molecular structure between the two fibers. The surface morphology of the two fibers is similar, but there are microparticle bumps on the surface of the recycled nylon.Compared with the original nylon, the recycled nylon has slightly higher crystallinity, similar orientation, slightly higher fracture strength and elongation at break, lower melting temperature, and higher melting enthalpy.
