Influence of twist design on strand linear performance
In order to comprehensively reflect the effect of twisting on the linear performance of the strand, pure cotton roving is selected as raw material, and single yarn is spun with twist factors of 320,340 and 360 respectively. Two or three identical single yams are used to reversely twist into double strands or three strands, and the influence of the twist factor ratio of single yam to ply on the strength, elongation and evenness of the corresponding strands isinvestigated. The results show that when the twist factor of the single yarn is 360 and the twist factor ratio is 1.4,the performance of the two-strand yam is the best.Compared with the two-strand yam with a twist factor ratio of 0.6,the strength is increased by 56.8%,the evenness is increased by 18.6%,and the hairiness H value is reduced by 34.1%.When the twist factor of the single yam is 360 and the twist factor ratio is 1.7,the performance of the triple yam is the best.Compared with the triple yam with a twist factor ratio of 0.5,the strength is increased by 36.4%,the evenness is increased by 62.5%,and the hairiness H value is reduced by 28.3%.
