Sealing performance is an important indicator to evaluate the safety of the mask, which reflects how well the edge of the mask fits to the wearer's face.Using the single factor test, the effects of head size, respiratory rate, respiratory flow rate, and head movement on mask sealing performance are investigated. The experimental results show that head size, respiratory parameters, and head movement all have an impact on the sealing performance of masks; When the size of the head mold is medium, the sealing performance of the mask is optimal; When other conditions are the same,as the respiratory rate or flow rate increases, the protective effect of masks on different sizes of head molds shows an upward trend; The sealing performance of a mask is the best when stationary, but the sealing performance is the worst when speaking. The sealing performance is similar when nodding or shaking the head, but both are better than when speaking, slightly worse than when stationary.
