Development and performance evaluation of multicomponent thermal insulation fabric
Using the moisture absorption and heat generation characteristics of modified acrylic fiber, the warmth retention, antibacterial and far-infrared properties of hollow Graphene polyester fiber, and the cotton fiber treated with bio based OPHB,multi-component functional yarn is spun, and fabrics with plain weave, twill, satin and honeycomb structures are woven to develop thermal insulation fabric. The performance of yarns and fabrics is evaluated using the grey near optimal method. The results show that the yarn has better antibacterial and odor removal properties, the honeycomb weave fabrics has better breathability and thermal insulation performance.
