Amination modification of flax fiber for reactive dyeing
The surface of linen fabric is modified by three modification processes with sodium periodate oxidation grafting ethylenediamine, polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(PEGDE)crosslinking grafting ethylenediamine and ammonia low temperature plasma treatment. Two kinds of reactive dyes(reactive brilliant red X-3B and reactive brilliant blue X-BR)are used to dye the modified linen fabric.Combined with the change of dyeing rate and grafting rate, the influence of process conditions on dyeing performance is studied, and the optimum modification process is determined. The results show that among the three modification processes, the linen fabric modified with PEGDE crosslinking grafting ethylenediamine has the best effect.Under the conditions of modification at 60 ℃ for 10 h with PEGDE 8%,ethylenediamine 0.5 mol/L and pH=6,the grafting rate of linen fabric can reach 11.2%and the dyeing rate can reach 89.39%.The fixation rate, rubbing fastness, soaping fastness and antibacterial properties of the modified linen fabric have been improved to a certain extent, and the dyeing performance is better.
