Stab-resistant mechanism of polyimide-based diamond particle composite resin sheet
The relatively hardest diamond particles are selected to fill the composite resin sheet with the relatively stronger and harder polyimide(PI)matrix,and the stab-resistant mechanism of the composite resin sheet against tool penetration is explored and characterized.The experiments confirm that the composite resin sheet has the blocking mechanism,the reverse cutting mechanism,the damping mechanism of particle moving down and rotating.Moreover,these three mechanisms basically occur simultaneously,but their respective characteristics are different.This provides a quantitative basis for the material selection of composite resin sheet and the theoretical analysis and modeling of stab resistance.
